Legacy Loop Ultra

Welcome to The Loop…

We all know ultra running is a physical challenge, but what about the mental side of it? Come and put your grit to the ultimate test and find out just how strong-willed you are!

The Legacy Loop Ultra is a six or twelve hour ultra on a lapped one kilometre course. Think aid stations every few minutes, no need to carry kit, very little chance of getting lost*, and great opportunities for spectators.

*although there’s always one…

The Legacy Loop Ultra will take place 20th June 2020

Entry for the 6 hour event is £35, and for the 12 hour event is £50.

The venue is the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park in Attercliffe, a traffic-free space with a purpose built looped route. Each lap will see you running along a marked 100m track, up a slight incline and out to the furthest part of the loop before turning downhill and passing the EIS Sheffield building on your way back to the start.

The start and finish race village area will have a baggage space where you can store all your kit, a drink and feed station with a selection of food provided, a marquee where you can rest, get a massage, change your shoes etc., as well as plenty of space for supporters.
